“Wars are not won by victims of battle, wars are won by the victims of battle who choose to rise beyond their victimization”.

Firstly, you have to get rid of the victim mindset and adopt a warrior mindset. All of us are either victims or victors. These two mindsets are what separates a successful influencer and an unsuccessful influencer.

Most young people are stuck to their emotions about what happened yesterday, instead of focusing on the opportunities presented today. Today is a gift and tomorrow is not a guarantee, If you want to Influence the world like a lion, you need not rely on yesterday’s successful or unsuccessful hunt. Yesterday’s home run does not win today’s game.

This is the Golden Rule of Influential Leaders – You do not attract what you want, you attract what you are. If you are an average reader, the people you influence will be below average, and if you choose to be a conscientious reader, your influence will either be on your level or above your level.

The step to becoming an influential leader will start by working on the people you attract, which calls for working on yourself.

You start by creating your Iron routine.

The Iron routine is like a solid foundation, standing strong and steady. It means doing things regularly that are important to you.

But before you make your routine, think about the kind of people you want to be around. What qualities do you admire in others? Try to have those qualities yourself. People who are like-minded will be attracted to you when they see you share the same values.

Your Iron routine is the key to attracting these like-minded people. The Iron routine is simply a set of habits or actions that you do consistently. It helps you stay focused on your goals and makes you more attractive to others who share similar interests.

When you stick to your Iron routine, it shows your dedication and determination. It’s like a roadmap that guides you toward your dreams, no matter the obstacles. Each day you follow your routine, you get closer to what you want to achieve.

You start by, following your Iron routine.

Consistency creates a routine, routine creates habit and habit creates character and character creates behaviour.

  • Consistency creates routine: When you consistently engage in specific actions or behaviours, they become routines. Repetition and regularity in performing tasks or activities make them more familiar and natural to you.
  • Routine creates habit: As you continue to follow a particular routine, it gradually becomes a habit. Habits are automatic behaviours that you perform without conscious thought. They are deeply ingrained patterns of action that become part of your daily life.
  • Habit creates character: Your habits, accumulated over time, shape your character. The things you do consistently reflect your values, priorities, and personality. Your character is the sum of your habits and how you choose to act regularly.
  • Character creates behaviour: Your character influences how you respond to various situations and challenges. It dictates your behavioural patterns and determines how you interact with others and the world around you.

Consistency is indelible if you want to influence the world start by creating your routine.

You start when you practice your Iron routine.

Practising your Iron routine implies that you are actively engaging in the activities or habits within the routine. It involves consistent actionable efforts to carry out the routine.

For example, if your Iron schedule involves practising communication in the mirror for 20 minutes every day, practising the routine means speaking to the mirror every day whether you feel motivated or not.
